Today starts week 18 of the pregnancy!!! I am including a photo that was taken today since everyone keeps asking to see one :)I only have a small baby bump right now although have gotten big enough that my clothes are not fitting right anymore. I have a Dr.'s appointment on Monday and am curious to see how much weight I have put on and not to mention a little excited about hearing the baby's heartbeat again!
I am also including a weekly update on how the baby is growing (keep in mind this website refers to the baby as a boy although we do not know what we are having) Enjoy the update....
How your baby's growing:
Head to rump, your baby is about 5 1/2 inches long (about the length of a bell pepper) and he weighs almost 7 ounces. He's busy flexing his arms and legs — movements that you'll start noticing more and more in the weeks ahead. His blood vessels are visible through his thin skin, and his ears are now in their final position, although they're still standing out from his head a bit. A protective covering of myelin is beginning to form around his nerves, a process that will continue for a year after he's born.

ruth!! you're SO cute pregnant! i can't wait to see you. =D (fingers STILL crossed) ...you can't IMAGINE how difficult life is when your fingers are CONSTANTLY crossed. but its ok! i want to see you THAT BADLY. hahaha.

You're going to be so cute I can already tell. You'll be one of those women that from the back you can't even tell they're pregnant. Glad things are going well. Don't you find out the sex around week 20? So exciting. I'm going with boy I think.
